Welcome Tubbo and Ranboo!

It’s time to start our next big chapter: Minecraft

We’re incredibly excited to welcome two new creators to our growing Minecraft roster – Tubbo and Ranboo! They have now officially partnered with us at Misfits Gaming, and will be working with us on a variety of different projects. It’s our goal to support and collaborate with them to create more ways for them to engage with their community both individually and as part of our Minecraft creator group.

So why Minecraft? Towards the end of 2021, Misfits Gaming began building a Minecraft community. It’s our first big step as an esports organization to invest in a non-competitive ecosystem, and we’re incredibly excited about the road that lies ahead. We started by signing a selection of creators that we love and are all creative, inclusive, and entertaining. Misfits Gaming has always championed being comfortable with who you are, and standing out from the crowd, and we’re really excited to partner with an incredible lineup of creators that are honestly such a perfect fit for us. Last year we signed 4 amazing creators – Aimsey, Seapeekay, Badlinu, and Snifferish, we launched our own server and had them join us in South Florida for content. This year we’re planning more content, a series of events both digital and in-person (covid permitting), and lots more that we’ll be able to talk about as the year goes on.

For us at Misfits, it’s a huge step to not only be working with a roster of creators outside of the competitive ecosystem, but we’re also incredibly proud of the group we have. They are all uniquely fantastic creators, they stand out, and they represent the very best in gaming through their values, beliefs and they are role models for their communities.

“Misfits remains committed to competition, but we’re also an inclusive community for all gamers,” said Ben Spoont, CEO of Misfits Gaming Group. “With Ranboo and Tubbo joining our already amazing roster of Minecraft creators, fans can expect fun community events, accessible content and a total elevation of our programming. We will define modern gaming content and can’t wait to see how our collective audiences respond.”

“Diversifying our audience while remaining true to our competitive DNA is a top priority at Misfits,” said Steve Brauntuch, CMO at Misfits Gaming Group. “Elite creators like Ranboo and Tubbo will help us engage and nurture a younger demo while Minecraft provides a fun testing ground for new content formats and ideas. It’s going to be a great year for the Misfits content lab.”
