Furthering our efforts in establishing a solid infrastructure for our CSGO team, we’re pleased to announce today that Misfits has signed Luis “Peacemaker” Tadeu as our head coach. Luis, who has been assisting the team already for about a month unofficially, has already shown the work he can do for the team with the improvement he helped bring about culminating in our qualification for Dreamhack Tours. The players, our IGL Sean Gares, our management and our owner have all greatly appreciated his help coming up to this point and we’re excited to finally bring him on board.
Sharing his thoughts, Luis says:
“People that know me as a coach know that my motto is having a hard work enviroment and something that really drives me its new challenges. When I first joined Immortals, everybody doubted our potential, same happened with Team Liquid and might happen once again with Misfits, but as long as I have enough time and stability to work I know what I’m capable of doing.
I am really pumped to start coaching once again. Ben Spoont (CEO) together with all the management and players did their very best to make it happen and I’m really thankful on having this opportunity. I am confident that right now we have all the pieces needed to become a top team and for the first time in my coaching career I will have an actual IGL to share ideas and build a system with.”
Together with Sean Gares, we’re assured we’ll be establishing a solid regiment and structure for the team, with great minds collaboratively working together in molding our new roster and working hard to establish ourselves as one of the strongest teams in North America. Sean Gares has been most excited to work with Luis especially, saying “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a great mind like Luis. I’ve admired Luis’ structure/style since arriving in North America and think he can bring tons of new ideas to the team. I can’t wait to work together to mold a new playstyle for the team moving forward!”
Luis “Peacemaker” Tadeu, along with the rest of the team, will all be in NA soon together under one roof in our CSGO team house, as well as accompanying the team to Europe prior to Dreamhack Tours for a bootcamp in Europe. Dreamhack Tours will take place May 6th to May 8th in Tours, France.
