BERLIN — Following a 3-1 victory over FC Schalke 04, Misfits has qualified for the European League Championship Series as the 10th team in the series. Misfits qualifies for the series alongside Team ROCCAT and Origen, both of which retained their spots in the series.

The successful qualification comes after a summer campaign in the European Challenger Series, where Misfits took first over French squad Millenium, earning € 9,000. The team ended the series with a 4-1-0 record before taking down Epsilon Esports and Millenium in two 3-0 series.

The team will debut in the League Championship Series beginning on Jan. 19.
