BOCA RATON, FL, October 14, 2020 - Misfits Gaming Group (MGG) is excited to welcome Martin ‘Deficio’ Lynge as the Director of Misfits Gaming Europe. Martin joins the team in Berlin, and will oversee all Misfits Gaming activities in Europe. He will be responsible for the strategic growth and development of the League of Legends department as well as identifying future opportunities for the EU team. Martin is a veteran in esports and he will bring an immense wealth of knowledge and experience to the team.
Martin joins the team from his previous role as the General Manager for Origen, where he was responsible for building the new team for the LEC. Prior to that he was a shoutcaster for Riot Games’ EU LCS, finding fame in his analysis and ability to break down the minute detail of gameplay. Before his time as a caster, he was a professional player for Ninjas in Pyjamas and Copenhagen Wolves.
Martin will be responsible for building the Misfits Gaming League of Legends infrastructure in 2021, with aims of expanding to other games and focus areas. He will be integrated into all facets of the org from competitive to content, to collaborating with sponsors and partners.
