Players Manager – Vainglory

Summary

We are recruiting a Vainglory Players Manager to handle the day-to-day operations of our Vainglory team. Your main objective will be to coordinate the logistics, events, travel, and operations of our Vainglory team. You will operate as the direct connection between the players and organization, reporting to the Chief Gaming Officer.

You will:

  • Handle the day-to-day logistics of the Misfits Vainglory team.
  • Create and maintain a weekly updated day-to-day schedule for the team.
  • Be the liaison between the team and the organization, and ensure proper information flow between the two.
  • Mediate for the team in discussions, and make sure everyone is on the same page at all times, including disputes between players or players and coaching staff.
  • Motivate and bring the best out in everyone surrounding the team.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to travel and attend competitions at night, on weekends, and overseas when required.
  • Knowledge of Vainglory esports including teams and competitions.

Bonuses

  • Two years or more experience managing an athletic/esports team or program.
  • Based out of Florida.
