The Florida Mutineers, a Call of Duty team competing in Activision Blizzard’s official Call of Duty league, has decided to expand their recent successful amateur tournament series “Kraken Bounty” to 4 more tournaments.
In partnership with Scuf Gaming, Destined 2 Dominate, Matrix Keyboards, and Gift of Life, The Mutineers started working with tournament organizer Afterdark Esports at the beginning of 2020 to put on amateur tournaments across South Florida. As local businesses shut down amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, The Mutineers quickly pivoted from LANs to online events, announcing a new tournament series called “Kraken Bounty,” the first of which, filled up all 64 team slots in 1 week, and the second of which, filled up in 1 day.
With a total of $10,000 in prize pools across the upcoming 4 tournaments, The Kraken Bounty series continues on June 17th, as 64 teams battle it out for the bounty of $2,500. Tune in at Twitch.tv/flmutineers. #krakenbounty
